The mining and stripping processes in Haikou mine include drilling, blasting, loading, transportation and dumping. Working area is long wall face.

Initiation for blasting is hole by hole to decrease the vibration. According to different P₂O₅ and MER content, the ROM will be sent to scrubbing plant, flotation plant and piles. The brands of equipment in the mine are CAT，Komatsu, Volvo and others.
